Privacy Policy

The controller of personal data processed in Links is 239 Ventures, which operates Maestr7a. Contact: oi@maestr7a.com.

Account data: email address and, if you provide them, name and language preference.

Public profile data: display name, URL slug, bio, profile photo and social media links.

Book data: title, subtitle, slug, description, cover and display order.

Technical data: IP address, browser type and security logs (rate limiting and bot checks), needed to run and protect the service.

We do not ask for a password. Access is via a magic link sent to your email.

To authenticate you and keep your session.

To create and publish your author page and book pages.

To send sign-in emails (magic links).

To prevent abuse, spam and automated misuse.

To operate, maintain and improve the service.

The display name, bio, photo, social links, books and covers you add become public on links.maestr7a.com so readers can access them. Do not publish information you do not want to make public.

We use processors that handle data on our behalf, only as needed for the service:

Turso (database), Resend (email), Cloudflare (R2 image storage and Turnstile) and Vercel (hosting).

We do not sell your personal data. Amazon links opened by readers may use Maestr7a affiliate tags; that does not mean we share your personal data with Amazon.

We use an httpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in after login.

Cloudflare Turnstile may use its own technologies to verify that a request is not from a bot. See also Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

We keep account and content data while your account exists.

Magic links expire within minutes and are stored in a limited way for security.

Rate-limit events are temporary and used only to protect the service.

If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize related personal data, except where retention is required by law.

You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability or deletion of your personal data, and information about sharing.

We use reasonable security measures (authenticated sessions, hashed tokens, private media storage and usage limits). No system is fully secure; if we learn of a relevant incident, we will act as required by applicable law.

Links is not intended for anyone under 16. If we learn we collected a minor’s data without an adequate legal basis, we will delete that information.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Material changes may be announced on the site or by email.
